Craft Distilling Group is a dynamic and rapidly growing organization with a presence in the UK, USA, Australia, and Ireland. We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager to join our Operations team.
Job Summary
We are looking for a seasoned Compliance Manager to ensure our organization adheres to legal standards and in-house policies. The successful candidate will be responsible for enforcing regulations in all aspects and levels of business, providing guidance on compliance matters, and managing the Regulatory Compliance and Financial Crime programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement remediation/mitigation plans, strategies, and advise on potential new/emerging Compliance risks that require senior management attention.
- Evaluate the efficiency of workflows and improve them continuously.
- Revise procedures, reports, etc. periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues.
- Own the KYC Compliance process.
- Draft, modify, and implement company policies and training materials.
- Collaborate with internal legal counsel and HR departments to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations.
- Assess the business's future ventures to identify possible compliance risks.
- Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control.
- Prepare reports for senior management and external regulatory bodies as appropriate.
- Assume the role as primary point of contact with regulatory bodies and government agencies on all Regulatory Compliance and Financial Crime matters in connection with both legal entities.
- Train (or arrange training) staff in AML KYC checks.
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the industry's standards and regulations.
- Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping.
- Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities.
