About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Building Surveyor to join our team at Brandon James Ltd. As a key member of our construction consultancy, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality projects across various sectors, including retail, education, healthcare, and public sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Specification: Develop and implement design and specification strategies for new structures and renovations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and client requirements.
  • Project Management: Oversee contract administration, manage project portfolios, and lead building surveying projects from inception to completion.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure seamless project delivery and excellent client satisfaction.
  • Contract Administration: Prepare specifications, obtain tenders, and prepare contract documents, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and client requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: BSc/MSc in Building Surveying (ideally RICS-accredited degree)
  • Professional Qualifications: MRICS or equivalent level of experience
  • Experience: Well-rounded experience in both professional and project services, with a strong background in public sector project delivery
