Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to join our Operations team in Richmond, London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring our organization adheres to legal standards and in-house policies.

You will play a critical role in enforcing regulations and providing guidance on compliance matters across all aspects and levels of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement remediation/mitigation plans, strategies, and advise on potential new/emerging compliance risks that require senior management attention.
  • Evaluate the efficiency of workflows and improve them continuously.
  • Revise procedures, reports, etc. periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues.
  • Own the KYC Compliance process.
  • Draft, modify, and implement company policies and training materials.
  • Collaborate with internal legal counsel and HR departments to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations.
  • Assess the business's future ventures to identify possible compliance risks.
  • Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control.
  • Prepare reports for senior management and external regulatory bodies as appropriate.
  • Assume the role as primary point of contact with regulatory bodies and government agencies on all Regulatory Compliance and Financial Crime matters in connection with both legal entities.
  • Train (or arrange training) staff in AML KYC checks.
Requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the industry's standards and regulations.
  • Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping.
  • Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities.
