About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our Extra Care Scheme team at Radis Community Care. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting elderly individuals who require assistance with daily living tasks, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with personal care activities, such as washing, dressing, and grooming
  • Help residents with mobility issues to move around the facility, including to dining areas, communal spaces, and bedrooms
  • Participate in recreational and social activities with residents, promoting physical and mental stimulation
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting a sense of well-being and comfort

Requirements

  • Previous experience in care work, preferably in an elderly care setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to care
