Position Title:
Junior Administrative Support Specialist

Work Location:
Lincoln, Kettlethorpe

Compensation:
£24,500 - £25,500 based on experience.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (1 hour lunch break). Own transport is necessary due to client location.

The primary objective of this position is to deliver administrative assistance to the Procurement Manager and serve as a support to the Sales Office Administrator during peak times.

This role presents an excellent opportunity for individuals aspiring to launch their career in office administration.

Responsibilities -
Assisting the Procurement Manager

  • Generating purchase orders in accordance with business requirements
  • Monitoring orders and informing relevant departments about delivery timelines
  • Notifying management of any price fluctuations
  • Updating the team regarding any delays or issues with suppliers
  • Keeping records of supplier agreements
  • Fostering strong relationships with vendors
. Supporting the Sales Office Administrator

  • Processing orders through email or phone
  • Creating customer invoices
  • Coordinating with the Logistics department to ensure prompt deliveries
  • Maintaining and updating sales and customer databases
  • Compiling daily & monthly sales reports
  • Tracking outstanding invoices, following up with debtors, and reporting to the accounts team if issues arise.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proficient in computer applications
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Sage200 is advantageous
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to cultivate and sustain working relationships both internally and externally
  • Adaptable mindset and openness to change
  • Highly driven with the capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Own transport is required due to client location.
