Role Overview
In the capacity of Senior Actuarial Project Leader, you will oversee workstreams within substantial transformation initiatives and manage small to medium actuarial projects within the Actuarial Reporting and Change sector. Operating within the Actuarial Reporting Projects Team and reporting to a Senior Project Actuary, the successful candidate will engage in a diverse range of tasks that facilitate the implementation of business and regulatory changes affecting our actuarial models, systems, and processes.
You will collaborate closely with colleagues and senior stakeholders across various teams within Phoenix to deliver critical insights that inform strategic decision-making. Your role will involve engaging with multiple change initiatives, from the initial planning phase to the execution and Business Readiness stages.
Candidate Profile
We seek a qualified actuary with a broad background in actuarial reporting and change, or other life actuarial fields, who has a proven track record of delivering results in a commercial setting.
Familiarity with financial reporting metrics, including Solvency II and IFRS, is highly advantageous, as is experience in reporting on these metrics. The ability to consistently produce high-quality work within strict deadlines is also essential for this role.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong desire to learn in a dynamic environment, demonstrating a proactive approach to change and a commitment to continuous improvement.
You should have the capability to cultivate strong relationships and drive initiatives through influence and collaboration across various departments, along with the experience and skills to communicate effectively with a diverse range of colleagues and senior stakeholders.
