HR Operations Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR professional to join our team as a Team Manager in HR Operations. As a key member of our HR community, you will play a vital role in delivering excellent HR services to the council and its partners.
Key Responsibilities- Team Management: Lead and manage a team of HR Advisers, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality HR services.
- Service Development: Contribute to the development of professional practice within the team and the service, maintaining an area of specialist HR knowledge.
- Casework Management: Manage a high-risk caseload, balancing the needs of staff and customers while ensuring compliance with HR policies and practices.
- Project Management: Oversee HR projects throughout the service operations, enhancing the quality and efficiency of service through data analysis and quality assurance measures.
- Policy Implementation: Play a key role in guiding and implementing HR policies and practices, ensuring alignment with the council's strategic objectives.
- HR Qualification: A relevant HR qualification or equivalent experience.
- Leadership Experience: A proven track record of managing and developing HR teams and services in a complex and changing environment.
- HR Knowledge: Excellent knowledge and understanding of HR best practice, legislation, and trends.
