Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Quality Control Laboratory Assistant to join our team at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. As a key member of our Quality Control Department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of our pharmaceutical and scientific services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deal with customers and health professionals on a first-line contact/response basis, providing excellent customer service and ensuring clear communication.
  • Perform various duties such as answering phone calls, receipt and logging of samples, processing of documentation, samples, and products, and their dispatch to customers.
  • Undertake physical, chemical, and microbiological testing and microbiology media preparation.
  • Work accurately and concentrate on repetitive tasks, ensuring high-quality results and meeting deadlines.
