About the Role

As a key member of our team at Workday Limited, the Outbound Product Manager will play a crucial role in driving the success of our product roadmap. This individual will combine a deep understanding of product capabilities, industry trends, and competitive intelligence to inform our strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point-of-contact for Financials Tax & Compliance and Consolidations, providing expert guidance to GTM teams, Marketing, and Services throughout the Land-Adopt-Expand-Renew operating cycle.
  • Utilize competitor analysis, industry trends, product analytics, and customer insights to inform product development and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Serve as the voice of our customers, applying a deep understanding of use cases and success outcomes to influence feature design and implementation strategy.
  • Develop and publish compelling content that communicates the value proposition of our features, connecting product capabilities to business outcomes.
  • Design and execute feature adoption initiatives to drive success outcomes and ensure customers realize maximum value from our products.
  • Deliver high-quality presentations to various audiences, including conferences, customer visits, and sales cycles, to effectively communicate product value and strategy.
  • Support industry analyst engagements to position Workday Financials as a leader in the industry.

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in product management or consulting, with a proven track record of driving business outcomes.
  • Direct experience or deep understanding of Financials Tax & Compliance and Consolidations, including global withholding tax, VAT principles, corporate or consolidations accounting, and core financial enterprise business applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead customer engagements and present to large audiences.

  • Experience building cross-team relationships and driving effective outcomes.
  • Proven understanding of design thinking and product development processes.
  • Able to make informed tradeoff decisions, participate in a culture of knowledge sharing and transparency, and appreciate the challenges faced by engineering and product teams.
  • Experience developing or supporting enterprise SaaS products.
  • MBA degree is a plus.
