SPECIAL NEEDS EDUCATION ASSISTANT (SEND)

Are you seeking a full-time position within an educational environment?


PK Education is collaborating with a specialized Secondary School focused on Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and is actively looking for dedicated Special Needs Education Assistants to join our team on a long-term basis.


We are eager to recruit SEND education assistants who possess relevant experience to fulfill both short-term and long-term roles within the school's Resource Provision. This provision caters to approximately 30 students with diverse needs, specifically designed for young individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in the local area.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide support in classroom settings, either on a one-to-one basis or in small group scenarios.
2. Manage student behavior effectively while they engage in their tasks.
3. Address any immediate challenges that arise.
4. Hold a degree qualification or possess prior experience in educational support.
5. Have a background in working with both small and larger groups of children.
6. Be available for at least three days a week, with a preference for full-time availability.
7. Exhibit flexibility and readiness to respond at short notice.
