LTF Recruitment Ltd is seeking a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in a primary educational setting.

This position entails providing tailored support to a student with special educational needs in Year Two. It is a fulfilling opportunity aimed at facilitating the child's reintegration into the classroom environment and achieving their educational health care plan (EHCP) objectives. The role is designed to be long-term, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position for the right candidate.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience in supporting children with special educational needs on a one-to-one basis and working towards EHCP goals.
  • Previous experience in an educational setting.
  • Strong behavior management skills, with experience in handling challenging behavior (Team Teach training is preferred).
  • Relevant teaching assistant qualifications or a degree in a related field.
  • A collaborative team player.
  • Solid understanding of the UK Key Stage One Curriculum.
