About this role:

The Conference Registration Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Conference Registration team to help grow conference revenue and attendance to global conferences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of Conference Registration Partners in a geographic region to drive pipeline activity and growth.
  • Monitor and roll up of monthly and quarterly forecasts to ensure accurate revenue projections.
  • Work closely with Conference Registration Partners to develop and implement employee and client retention strategies.
  • Perform performance management of Conference Registration Partners, including creating individual development plans and conducting regular review and plan sessions.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of relevant sales compensation plans and encourage training efforts to enhance team performance.
  • Conduct market research to identify client prospect markets and opportunities to assist Conference Registration Partners in planning.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor analysis to inform business decisions.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 3+ years of proven consultative sales experience in high technology (services, software, or hardware) preferred.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor subordinates, with a proven track record of success in management roles.
    • Ability to deliver company objectives and develop plans to execute against these strategies.
    • Proven ability to understand enterprise-wide issues and structure innovative, integrated conference solutions that provide IT decision support to global organizations.
    • Established C-level contacts and knowledge of the global issues they face.
    • Comprehensive understanding of technology buying centers and extensive industry-specific and account knowledge.
