Conference Registration Business Development Associate

About this role:
Gartner is seeking a skilled Conference Registration Partner to drive increased utilization of outstanding tickets issued to clients or purchased standalone. This role will enable the Conference Attendance Sales associate to focus on revenue-generating activities, resulting in increased sales and productivity.
Key responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain relationships with Conference Attendance Sales and Research Account Executive teams within the territory.
- Conduct account planning sessions to devise a ticket utilization strategy with the account team.
- Engage with large client and non-client organizations holding unused tickets.
- Work with ticket holders to understand their role and initiatives, aligning them with the proper conference.
- Present the value proposition of Gartner conferences to ticket holders, driving increased ticket utilization and conference attendance.
- Identify potential upsell opportunities and request referrals to forward to the Conference Attendance Sales associate.
- Collaborate with ticket holders to register and plan their conference agenda.
- Adhere to departmental communication strategies for all outbound communication to ticket holders.
- Conduct daily client meetings.
- Maintain outbound phone and email levels to exceed ticket utilization targets.
- CRP associates will be primarily measured on increased ticket utilization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 1-2 years of business experience; entry-level with strong internship experience.
- Experience working with senior-level executives preferred.
- Prioritization skills, strong interpersonal skills, and collaboration.
- Excellent communication skills – ability to speak with CIOs and VP-level attendees.
