About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at Refresco. As a key member of our HSE team, you will play a critical role in driving our sustainability agenda and promoting a high-performance safety culture across our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with site leadership teams to ensure effective management of the HSE Management System
  • Provide technical support and guidance to site area managers and personnel on HSE-related matters
  • Develop and implement risk assessment programs, HSE audit and inspection programs, and standard operating procedures
  • Liaise with plant HR Business Partner on Occupational Health matters
  • Engage with site and report on HSE KPIs, including accident statistics, environmental permit annual returns, and environmental KPIs
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience as a HSE Advisor in a busy manufacturing and engineering environment
  • Up-to-date knowledge of UK HSE legislation and its practical application
  • NEBOSH Certificate in Health and Safety as a minimum
  • Good Microsoft packages experience
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
