About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Advisor to join our team at BYLOR Joint Venture. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees, contractors, and the public.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and support to project teams on health and safety regulations, legislation, and policies.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify hazards and deficiencies, and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Investigate incidents and produce comprehensive reports to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with Bylor's safety management systems (SMS) and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate key HSE project risks.
- Assess subcontractor competence and provide input into work-winning tenders.
- Develop and implement behavioral tools to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Essential Skills and Knowledge:
- Relevant experience in health and safety within a construction environment.
- Strong understanding of HSE&E legislation and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
- Professional image and commitment to promoting the values of the project.
Education and Qualifications:
- Recognized HSE qualifications, such as NEBOSH.
