Key Role in University HR Team

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our University HR team as an Interim Deputy Head of Human Resources. This is a key role that will provide strategic support, professional HR expertise, and leadership across the hubs.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of delivering high-quality HR services, with a focus on employee engagement, talent management, leadership capacity, and organisational design and culture. They will also have experience of implementing new service delivery models and developing business partnering capability.

The role will involve deputising for the Head of HR, providing leadership and management for the hub HR teams, and supporting the implementation of our new service delivery model. The successful candidate will be a strong leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively manage and develop a team of professional colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide strategic support and professional HR expertise to the University HR team.
  2. Lead and manage the hub HR teams, ensuring they have a University-wide focus on activities necessary to enhance organisational effectiveness.
  3. Implement the new service delivery model, setting the foundations for developing business partnering capability.
  4. Develop and implement a consistent approach to service activity.
