Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and organized Human Resources Assistant to support the provision of an excellent and effective HR service at the University of Leeds.

About the Role

This is an ongoing role currently based within the People and Culture Directorate for a fixed 12-month period. However, should the business need arise, and after full consultation with you, you may be deployed elsewhere within the University.

The role will be based on the University campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the HR team, including managing a busy workload and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Deal with confidential and sensitive information, maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Work as part of a team to provide a high level of customer service to support the recruitment and employment of our 9,500 staff.
  • Assist with the provision of an excellent and effective HR service, including supporting the recruitment and employment process.
