Working Hours:
Full-time, 40 hours per week

Work Location:

Primarily remote, with necessary travel to various project sites, preferably situated in the Midlands or London area.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the financial management of multiple contracts, proposals, and operational processes.

Assess risks, obligations, and commitments within contractual documents, ensuring the organization understands any potential implications.

Safeguard the commercial interests of the project delivery team at all times.

Lead, mentor, and manage team members effectively.

Implement accurate cost estimation and control strategies.

Manage subcontractor relationships, including inquiries, drafting agreements, measurement, valuation, and payment processes.

Assist in project procurement activities.

Provide timely and high-quality management reports to the Project Manager and senior leadership as required.

Offer commercial support to various departments within the organization.

Address day-to-day commercial and subcontract administration matters.

Candidate Profile:

Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and problem resolution.

Relevant qualifications such as HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent professional credentials.

In-depth understanding of contract types including NEC, JCT, and IChemE.

Experience with a primary contractor in the Industrial, Water, or Energy sectors is essential.

Prior knowledge of operations and maintenance contracting is advantageous.

Multi-disciplinary experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction sector is preferred.
