This position offers the flexibility of remote work, with the expectation that the successful candidate will be present at one of the client's offices once a week.

As a Cost Analyst, you will be instrumental during the pre-construction phase of various projects.

Your skills in financial estimation, bid preparation, and stakeholder management will be crucial in winning new contracts and ensuring their economic feasibility.

This role supports remote/home working, with a requirement to attend the office one day each week.

Bid Management:
Scrutinize bid documents for precision and thoroughness, including specifications, drawings, reports, and legal agreements.

  • Utilize Causeway estimating software to oversee cost data and generate comprehensive cost analyses.
  • Engage with clients and

Client Engagement:
Cultivate and sustain relationships with clients, project leaders, and consultants. Compile supply chain lists, prepare and distribute trade inquiries, and evaluate subcontractor bids. Maintain positive relationships with subcontractors, including providing constructive feedback and organizing meetings.

  • Ensure seamless transition of projects to the operations team upon success.
  • Generate cost reports and forward-looking forecasts to enhance project and package tender margins.
A proven history in estimating a diverse range of construction projects is essential.

  • Proficiency in Causeway estimating software and digital take-off tools such as Bluebeam.
  • Familiarity with JCT and NEC contract frameworks.
  • A valid UK driving license.
