Key Responsibilities:
As the Area Support Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the operational management of our support services and housing initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating closely with the Area Services Manager to oversee daily operations across multiple sites.
  • Ensuring that clients receive consistent, high-quality care.
  • Partnering with service providers to deliver trauma-informed, holistic support.
  • Recruiting, training, and supervising staff and volunteers.
  • Managing the daily operations of housing units and the referral system.
  • Monitoring and enhancing the quality of client pathways, addressing risks and safeguarding concerns.
  • Ensuring compliance with housing management, health and safety standards, and tenancy regulations.
  • Providing out-of-hours management support on a rotational basis.
  • Implementing policies related to equality, service improvements, and adherence to data protection and health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess experience in managing support services and housing operations, along with strong organizational and operational skills. Key qualifications include:

  • Proficiency in trauma-informed care and understanding holistic support needs.
  • Experience in risk management and safeguarding.
  • Skills in recruiting, training, and developing staff and volunteers.
  • Knowledge of housing management and health and safety compliance.
  • Flexibility to provide out-of-hours support as required.
  • A commitment to equality, diversity, and continuous improvement in service delivery.
  • Understanding of data protection regulations and best practices.
