As the Lead Conversion Rate Optimization Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that RocketMill provides outstanding optimization and experimentation services. Reporting directly to the Head of UX and CRO, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the CRO program across various client accounts, contributing to the strategic growth of this service area.

Your background should include managing a high-performing team, successfully executing programs, and delivering tangible business value within an agency context.

Utilizing your proficiency with diverse analytics, testing, and insight tools, you will adeptly apply analysis, UX innovation, behavioral insights, and technology to improve our clients' digital experiences.

Your strong commercial awareness will drive you to enhance revenue growth for both our clients and RocketMill. Collaborating with department leadership, you will help expand the agency's CRO portfolio and product offerings, paving the way for future growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee CRO programs that not only meet but exceed client expectations, from strategic planning to implementation.
  • Guide and mentor other CRO specialists, enabling them to manage their own accounts while ensuring effective implementation across a network of resources.
  • Collaborate with the UX team and clients to create user-centered and innovative CRO solutions.
  • Provide effective line management and support to all CRO specialists, helping them achieve their personal development objectives.
  • Deliver comprehensive analyses and audits using a variety of quantitative and qualitative methods, identifying impactful opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring they have a clear roadmap of activities that align with their business goals and objectives.
  • Implement processes and initiatives that guarantee high-quality work and successful delivery of CRO campaigns.
  • Research and develop thought leadership content to inspire and educate our client community.
  • Assist RocketMill's Business Development and Client Leadership teams by crafting business cases and proposals, and by promoting the Conversion Rate Optimization product to prospective clients.
  • Identify and execute opportunities to enhance RocketMill's CRO product, including effective collaboration with external partners and internal teams.
  • Lead and nurture relationships with external partners as the CRO offering expands.
  • Work with department heads to identify recruitment needs as the CRO service grows and lead the hiring process.
  • Collaborate with senior colleagues in UX, Media, and SEO teams to design and implement integrated CRO solutions.

Other Responsibilities

  • Maintain a high standard of service for CRO clients, taking ownership of the quality of work delivered by the department.
  • Communicate effectively and concisely with senior client stakeholders.
  • Develop case studies that highlight exceptional and award-winning CRO work.
  • Provide CRO training and support to the broader team as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and share knowledge within the team.
  • Prioritize your time effectively and delegate tasks to ensure optimal service to clients and the agency.
  • Collaborate closely with department heads to contribute to and implement action plans aimed at improving our people, products, and processes.
  • Delegate work as necessary while ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained.

Skills Profile

  • Significant experience in a senior optimization role with a comprehensive understanding of the industry.
  • Proven experience with a variety of analysis and research methods to interpret user needs and behaviors, driving effective ideation for optimizations.
  • Advanced analytical, technical, and mathematical skills to identify suitable CRO opportunities and execute analyses with statistical rigor.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, regardless of their technical expertise.
  • A recognition of the critical role data and CRO play in modern business, with a commitment to staying at the forefront of the industry.
  • As a Lead Conversion Rate Optimization Specialist, you will be expected to take initiative and lead the development and delivery of our CRO offerings.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify innovative and beneficial uses of CRO for clients.
  • Advanced analytical capabilities coupled with a commercial mindset.
  • Proven ability to deliver CRO solutions within full-service marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent technical implementation skills across various CRO and Marketing Analytics technologies.
