In collaboration with the Senior HR Business Partner and the broader HR team, you will deliver proactive and strategic HR counsel to lead and manage the implementation of HR transformation initiatives and critical objectives aligned with the organizational people strategy. This role requires a partnership approach, combining a deep understanding of the organization with HR expertise to facilitate the execution of restructures, TUPE, and change management activities that address current and future organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and nurture trusted relationships across various levels of the organization through effective collaboration and credibility.
- Assist the Senior HR Business Partner in executing change initiatives, including restructuring, redundancy settlements, and TUPE processes.
- Lead the drafting of settlement agreements and manage associated redundancy costs in partnership with the HR team.
- Engage confidently with legal counsel to finalize settlement agreements, ensuring compliance from execution to payroll instructions.
- Deliver monthly HR reports with a focus on accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Serve as the primary contact for the HR team regarding change initiatives and TUPE matters.
- Collaborate with the HR team on complex employee relations issues related to reorganizations and redundancies, providing guidance on selection criteria and restructuring principles.
- Effectively manage competing priorities and urgent requests from the Senior HR Business Partner and the wider HR team.
- Compile and analyze HR management information, interpreting data to identify trends and present findings to senior leadership.
- This role may require occasional business travel.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of HR best practices, UK employment legislation, and contemporary HR developments.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience in managing redundancy programs.
Professional Qualifications
- CIPD Level 3 or 5, or an equivalent relevant professional qualification.
