Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team at Workforce Staffing Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our manufacturing activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Plan Weekend Shifts: Oversee the planning and execution of weekend cleaning activities, ensuring timely delivery of services that meet and exceed customer requirements.
  • Resource Management: Supervise resources to ensure efficient working both as teams and as individuals, maximizing productivity and minimizing downtime.
  • Quality and Health and Safety: Conduct regular quality and health and safety audits, addressing any non-conformances identified and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Staff Training and Development: Provide thorough training to staff on safety aspects related to their job, ensuring they are working to relevant RAMS and signed-off as required.
  • HR and Administration: Monitor and record staff attendance, absenteeism, and timekeeping, ensuring timely completion of RTWs and applying Company policy and procedures as needed.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Foster effective communication with staff, management, and customers, ensuring seamless handovers and maintaining a positive working relationship.
  • Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Identify root causes of problems and take fast, effective action to resolve them, demonstrating flexibility in response to changing customer needs and expectations.
Requirements
  • Proven Supervisory Experience: A minimum of [X] years of experience in supervisory roles, preferably in a manufacturing or facilities management environment.
  • Relevant Qualifications and Knowledge: Hold a relevant qualification, such as an HNC or equivalent, and possess knowledge of health and safety regulations and legislation.
  • Computer Literacy and Plant Equipment Operation: Be computer literate and have experience operating plant equipment.
  • Customer Service and Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to effectively handle customer queries and complaints.
