About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Line Technician to join our team at Ardagh Group. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and continuous running of our production lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that products meet our high standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Production Support: Assist in the setup and operation of production lines, and provide technical support to production staff as needed.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all health and safety protocols and procedures.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: 5 GCSEs or equivalent, including Maths and English, and a recognized Time Served Apprenticeship in a manufacturing mechanical engineering discipline.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of production equipment and processes.
  • Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Language: Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
