About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled National Account Manager to join our team at Panton McLeod, a leading provider of innovative water treatment solutions. As a key member of our account management team, you will be responsible for driving engagement and fostering a positive team culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account Management: Oversee the account management of existing customers, ensuring their needs are met with care, commitment, and professionalism.
  • Customer Relationship Building: Develop and nurture a diverse portfolio of customers through proactive and reactive outreach and relationship building.
  • Business Development: Implement strategies to grow and expand the customer base in conjunction with the Business Development and Marketing teams, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and review the work of the team, ensuring all tasks are performed accurately to provide exceptional support to the business.
  • Customer Meetings: Conduct regular customer meetings to understand their evolving needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities using the CRM system.
  • Policy Adherence: Manage the team's adherence to internal policies and procedures.
  • Target Achievement: Help the business meet or exceed targets and KPIs.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in a services-related B2B sales/account management role.
  • Technical Skills: Demonstrable strong knowledge of the Microsoft Suite, especially Excel.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to liaise effectively with senior leaders, peers, and team members at all levels, and ability to foster positive relationships with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Independence: Demonstrable experience of working independently and autonomously while leading an engaged account management team.
What We Offer
  • Salary: £43k to £48k per annum.
  • Hybrid Working: Hybrid working arrangements between our head office and home.
  • Annual Leave: 30 days Annual Leave (including Bank Holidays), rising to 34 with length of service.
