Job Title: Purchase Ledger Clerk (Temporary)

Our client, a leading business in the finance sector, is seeking a skilled and experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to support their busy period. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of purchase ledger processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Input and process purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Administer and export credit card transactional data
  • Prepare weekly payment runs file
  • Post and reconcile bank entries
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding invoices and payments
  • Resolve supplier queries regarding invoices
  • Reconcile supplier statements
  • Generate and send customer invoices
  • Reconcile and report on weekly sales transactions
  • Provide financial analysis as required
  • Assist other finance roles as needed, including holiday cover
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a finance administrative role
  • AAT qualification or equivalent
  • Strong administration skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and manage a varied workload
  • Proficiency in Microsoft packages, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Confident in navigating multiple systems and databases
  • Use of accounting software an advantage
  • UK driving license
Working Details:
  • 40 hours working week, office based
  • Competitive salary range: £23,000 - £25,000
  • Free parking
