Job Summary:

Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Operations Assistant to join their team. As a key member of the accounting department, you will play a vital role in supporting the company's financial operations, ensuring the smooth running of accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Journaling: Post financial journals in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Accruals and Prepayments: Manage accruals and prepayments, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Purchase Ledger Tasks: Assist with purchase ledger tasks as required, including processing invoices and credit notes.
  • Bank Reconciliations: Conduct bank reconciliations, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Ledger Reconciliations: Perform ledger reconciliations, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Supporting Audits and Compliance: Support audits and compliance processes, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Intercompany Reconciliations: Handle intercompany reconciliations, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Ad-Hoc Tasks and Reports: Undertake ad-hoc tasks and prepare reports as needed, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.

Key Skill Requirements:

  • AAT Qualified or Accounting Graduate: AAT qualified or recent accounting graduate, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Broad Accounting Experience: Broad experience in accounting, with a desire for career growth and development.
  • IT Proficiency: Proficiency in IT, especially Excel, with the ability to learn new systems and software.
  • Task Management: Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
