About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Team Leader to join our team at The Co-operative Group. As a Customer Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading the store team, coaching and supervising our Customer Team Members, and delivering great customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the store team and ensure that the store remains safe, legal, and fully operational
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Manage and motivate the store team to achieve sales targets and improve operational efficiency
  • Ensure that all customer interactions are handled in a professional and courteous manner
  • Work closely with the Store Manager to achieve business objectives and improve store performance
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a retail environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve sales targets and improve operational efficiency
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
