About Our Team

The Business Services division is a dynamic group of innovative, strategic thinkers dedicated to empowering our organization. The collaborative efforts of the People & Culture, Marketing & Communications, IT, Operations, Finance, and Quality & Risk Management teams ensure that Forvis Mazars is equipped with the necessary tools, technologies, strategies, and services to deliver outstanding client service and secure our future growth.

Role Overview

  • Assist in the evaluation and implementation of HR policies, practices, and procedures that foster a high-performance culture, ensuring fairness and inclusivity while promoting engagement and productivity to achieve the firm's objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Head of HR Advisory and the People & Culture Leadership team to maintain current UK people policies and procedures, ensuring they reflect best practices and comply with the latest employment legislation.
  • Adopt an evidence-based approach to policy development, drawing from best practices, academic research, organizational data, and stakeholder feedback.
  • Propose new or revised policies as necessary.
  • Coordinate with the HR Shared Services team to review, update, or create internal processes in line with new or revised policies.
  • Deliver training to the People & Culture team, managers, and staff on the interpretation and implementation of new policies and procedures.
  • Monitor changes in employment legislation in collaboration with the Employee Relations Manager, updating relevant policies and procedures accordingly.
  • Work with People & Culture teams to manage Data Subject Access Requests (DSAR) from the Privacy team, ensuring timely information gathering.
  • Provide efficient, effective, and business-oriented advice on employment matters, including policies, best practices, and employment law, while identifying opportunities and risks to ensure managers are well-informed about HR implications.
  • Support the HR Business Partnering team in embedding policies and procedures within their areas, participating in manager meetings as needed to facilitate adherence.
  • Evaluate the return on investment from new and revised policies and procedures, providing updates on benefits and cost savings to the Head of HR Advisory and HR Director.
  • Oversee the HR Advisor team, offering generalist HR guidance on the implementation of the firm's people policies.
  • This position offers flexibility in location.

Qualifications We Seek

  • Comprehensive understanding of HR employment law and operations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Employee Relations (ER) and employee experience.
  • Exemplary behaviors aligned with Mazars values, showcasing a collaborative spirit and the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data analytics, with the capability to derive insights from Applicant Tracking Systems and reporting tools.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with a commitment to understanding the needs of stakeholders and clients.
  • Proven project management experience, adept at collaborating with multiple stakeholders to drive change and enhance processes.
  • Innovative and forward-thinking mindset, with the self-motivation and curiosity to effect meaningful change.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment, including knowing when to escalate issues.
  • Client service-oriented, demonstrating follow-through and accountability.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of prioritizing tasks while maintaining a positive attitude.
