Position Overview: People Systems Operations Leader
As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the People (HR) team system. Utilizing SAP SuccessFactors as our primary HR system, along with Megapay for payroll, your contributions to the ongoing development and enhancement of these systems are crucial for our sustained success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement best practice methodologies while enhancing the skills of the People Systems team.
- Engage primarily with HR and payroll teams, with occasional travel to operational units as necessary.
- Oversee the maintenance, quality, and consistency of HRIS system information, including configuration changes, security, reporting, and workflows.
- Diagnose, analyze, and rectify technical issues and deficiencies.
- Provide support to the People/end-user community by offering guidance and assistance as the primary contact for the HRIS system.
- Collaborate with the Murphy IT team to escalate technical challenges and ensure appropriate solutions are identified or further escalated to vendors when required.
- Work closely with HR and payroll teams to evaluate the impact of new HRIS system upgrades, aiming to mitigate risks associated with these changes.
- Develop, standardize, and maintain all HR reports to furnish management with insights on compliance, operational efficiency, and people management metrics such as headcount, turnover, performance, and absence.
- Plan resource requirements to ensure technical delivery aligns with agreed timelines.
- Manage IT service support for all incidents, problems, and service requests.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of SuccessFactors functionality, configuration, and data management. Experience in working with SuccessFactors or participating in a SuccessFactors implementation project within a mid to large organization is essential.
Key qualifications include:
- Extensive experience with Employee Central and at least one of the following modules: Recruitment, Onboarding, or Learning.
- Experience in either an HR Operations team closely collaborating with IT or within an IT team working alongside HR Operations.
- Familiarity with payroll systems is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in IT processes, including script writing, testing, and change management.
