Position Overview
We are thrilled to announce an opening for a Sales Operations Lead within FT Professional, our rapidly growing digital subscription division. This role involves collaborating with the Head of Revenue Operations to boost the productivity and effectiveness of the Sales team. Key responsibilities encompass managing stakeholder relationships, refining operational processes, evaluating and implementing technology solutions, and ensuring optimal utilization of our CRM platform to align with business objectives and support key performance indicators (KPIs).
The ideal candidate will engage in CRM-related initiatives and the ongoing enhancement of our sales operations, which may include data and process improvements, as well as system integrations.
This role requires a candidate who is enthusiastic about leveraging modern technologies, including AI, to drive innovation and enhance efficiency within our sales processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance sales productivity by streamlining processes, adopting automation tools, and improving scalability across all sales initiatives to optimize operational efficiency and ensure seamless system integration.
- Collaborate with the Head of Revenue Operations and the Sales leadership team to identify critical areas within our evolving sales process, leading and executing operational enhancements.
- Partner with the Sales Program to implement best practices across global sales teams.
- Support cross-departmental initiatives between Sales and Internal Products.
- Ensure our CRM platform is configured to deliver measurable benefits to our sales and operations teams.
- Assist with change management and the adoption of our sales policies and CRM system.
- Engage with teams to gather insights and establish a feedback loop to help create a strategic roadmap.
- Act as a consultant/business analyst to key Sales stakeholders, providing feedback and maximizing value.
- Develop and manage the Sales Operations workstream system, effectively prioritizing to focus on high-impact areas.
- Provide regular updates on progress and any challenges to key stakeholders.
- Coordinate cross-functional processes with Marketing, Customer Success, and New Products to achieve new business, renewal, and upsell targets.
Candidate Profile
Required Skills
- A graduate degree in a numerate, business, or marketing discipline is preferred.
- Familiarity with Sales Management roles and the Sales pipeline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify areas for CRM enhancement and optimize the platform's features and capabilities.
- Process-oriented mindset with a keen interest in data.
- Proactive approach with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with a diverse group of individuals.
- Creative thinking skills with the ability to ask insightful questions and test new ideas.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Willingness to stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in CRM and/or Salesforce, sharing insights with the team.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in project management is advantageous.
- Background in digital subscriptions, media, or technology is preferred.
- A solid understanding of data regulations such as GDPR is beneficial.
