The Role / Position Overview

We are thrilled to announce an opportunity for a Sales Operations Lead within FT Professional, our rapidly growing digital subscription division. This role involves collaborating with the Head of Revenue Operations to boost the productivity and effectiveness of the Sales team. Key responsibilities encompass managing stakeholder relationships, refining operational processes, evaluating and implementing technology solutions, and ensuring optimal use of our CRM platform to align with business objectives and support key performance indicators.

The ideal candidate will assist with CRM-related initiatives and the ongoing enhancement of our sales operations, which may include data and process improvements, as well as system integrations.

This position calls for a candidate who is eager to leverage modern technologies, including AI, to drive innovation and enhance efficiency within our sales processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance sales productivity by streamlining processes, deploying automation tools, and improving scalability across all sales initiatives to optimize operational efficiency and ensure seamless system integration.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Revenue Operations and the Sales leadership team to identify high-impact areas within our evolving sales process, where you will lead and implement operational enhancements.
  • Partner with the Sales Program to disseminate best practices to global sales teams.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives between Sales and Internal Products.
  • Ensure our CRM platform is configured to deliver measurable benefits to our sales and operations teams.
  • Assist with change management and the adoption of our sales policies and CRM system.
  • Engage with teams to gather insights and create a feedback loop to help shape our roadmap.
  • Act as a consultant/business analyst to key Sales stakeholders, providing feedback and maximizing value.
  • Develop and manage the Sales Operations workstream system, effectively prioritizing to focus on the most critical areas.
  • Provide regular updates on progress and any challenges to key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate cross-functional processes with Marketing, Customer Success, and New Products to achieve new business, renewal, and upsell targets.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Required Skills

  • A graduate with a degree in a quantitative, business, or marketing discipline.
  • Familiarity with Sales Management roles and the Sales pipeline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify areas for CRM improvement and optimize the platform's features and capabilities.
  • Process-oriented with a keen interest in data.
  • Proactive and capable of working independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse group of individuals and establish productive working relationships.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to ask questions and test ideas.
  • Well-organized with effective time management skills to prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in CRM and/or Salesforce and share insights.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in project management is advantageous.
  • Background in digital subscriptions, media, or technology.
  • A solid understanding of data regulations such as GDPR.
