About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Norfolk & Suffolk Foundation NHS Trust. As a key member of our Under 18's Crisis Service, you will play a vital role in providing community-based intensive support to children, young people, and their families across Norfolk and Waveney.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver clinical interventions and risk assessments to support young people and their families
  • Establish trusting therapeutic relationships to reduce risks and promote positive outcomes
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective support plans

Requirements:

  • Nursing degree or equivalent qualification
  • At least 12 months post-qualification experience in a mental health setting
  • Excellent risk assessment and risk management skills
  • Ability to travel independently
