About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Practitioner to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team in Central Norwich. As a Senior Mental Health Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing assessment and goal-focussed, evidence-based interventions to young people who are experiencing difficulties with their mental health.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide mental health assessments and be part of the Duty Clinician rota for urgent response
- Work with a Multi-disciplinary team comprising of Psychology, Occupational Health, Social Work, and Mental Health Nursing
- Collaborate with colleagues from health, education, social care, and the voluntary sector
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each young person
- Provide training and consultation to other staff members on mental health best practices
Requirements
- Nursing degree or equivalent, Dip OT, Clinical Psychology, or equivalent
- Able to demonstrate an appropriate level of knowledge of mental health practice from previous experience
- Ability to travel
