About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Crisis Care Practitioner to join our Norfolk 111 Mental Health Option Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing 24/7 crisis support to individuals in need.

Main Responsibilities
  • Respond to calls from service users and professionals, providing empathetic and informed support
  • Triage and assess situations over the phone, ensuring effective risk management and safety planning
  • Document interactions, referrals, and notes, maintaining accurate records
  • Liaise with other professionals and teams to ensure seamless support and coordination
  • Develop and implement formulations and plans for regular callers, promoting recovery-focused care
  • Take lead roles in championing specific areas, such as Learning Disability, Youth, or Perinatal services, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Person Specification

We are looking for individuals with a strong background in mental health practice, a nursing degree or equivalent, and ongoing professional development. Essential qualifications include a Dip OT, Clinical Psychology, or ENB 998. Experience in risk assessment and management is also crucial.
