About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) in Norwich. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing assessment and goal-focussed interventions to young people experiencing difficulties with their mental health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide evidence-based interventions and therapies to young people and their families
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychology, occupational health, social work, and mental health nursing
  • Participate in the Duty Clinician rota for urgent response and have a caseload of young people requiring ongoing support
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with young people, families, and community partners
Requirements
  • Nursing degree or equivalent, Dip OT, Clinical Psychology, or equivalent
  • Mentorship qualification or ENB 998, with willingness to train as a Sign-off Mentor
  • Good to great management course or equivalent (desirable)
  • Experience in working with children and young people, with a focus on mental health practice
  • Ability to travel
