About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Continuous Improvement Manager to champion our Lean mentality across our manufacturing sites in Stockport and Frome.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and share best practices, driving improvements to increase yield and reduce costs.
- Develop and execute an improvement roadmap to reduce conversion cost gaps, assess current state operations, and support future state development.
- Coach teams on CI philosophies, facilitate project teams, and ensure process owner involvement in project identification and execution.
- Provide leadership to teams through goal setting, follow-up, and feedback, and assess and drive team members to develop their skills.
- Work closely with Plant Managers on strategic initiatives, implementing new systems, and designing creative solutions to continuously improve the plant.
Requirements
- Degree-level qualification.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or experience as a Lean Implementer.
- Proven experience in implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Previous experience working in manufacturing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Six Sigma Black Belt.
- Degree-qualified in Engineering.
- Experience in Operational Management or Quality Management.
