Job Title: Continuous Improvement Manager

Johnson Controls is seeking a highly skilled Continuous Improvement Manager to champion a culture of continuous improvement across our Stockport and Frome manufacturing sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with all teams to identify and share best practices, driving improvements to increase yield and identify savings.
  • Coach and develop the culture on both sites, supporting plant leadership in change management and performance improvements.
  • Develop and execute an improvement roadmap to reduce conversion cost gaps, assess the current state of plant operations, and drive progression towards a future state.
  • Facilitate project teams, ensure process owner involvement, and provide leadership through goal setting, follow-up, and feedback.
  • Work closely with Plant Managers on strategic initiatives, implementing new systems, and designing creative solutions to continuously improve the plant.
Requirements:
  • Degree-level qualification.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or experience as a Lean Implementer.
  • Ability to give examples of implementing continuous improvement.
  • Previous experience working in manufacturing.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Six Sigma Black Belt.
  • Degree qualified in Engineering.
  • Worked within an Operational Management or Quality Management role.
