Job Title: Continuous Improvement Manager

Johnson Controls is seeking a highly skilled Continuous Improvement Manager to champion a Lean mentality across our Stockport and Frome manufacturing sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with all teams to identify and share best practices, looking for improvements to increase yield or identify savings.
  • Coach the team on CI philosophies, facilitate project teams, and ensure process owner involvement in project identification and execution.
  • Provide leadership to the teams through goal setting, follow-up, and feedback, and assess and drive team members to develop them.
  • Work closely with Plant Managers on strategic initiatives to implement new systems and design creative solutions to continuously improve the plant.
  • Oversee both plants in Stockport and Frome, with some travel required (approximately 25%).
Requirements:
  • Degree-level qualification.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or experience as a Lean Implementer.
  • Ability to give examples of implementing continuous improvement.
  • Previous experience working in manufacturing.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Six Sigma Black Belt.
  • Degree-qualified in Engineering.
  • Worked within an Operational Management or Quality Management role in the past.
