About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Outpatient Improvement and Redevelopment Manager to join our team at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in supporting teams in the provision and stabilization of current displaced outpatient activity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the operational management of current displaced outpatient activity, working closely with outpatient and divisional teams to maintain outpatient activity and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and implement communication strategies to deliver outpatient services, employing expert negotiation and diplomacy skills to communicate complex and sensitive information.
  • Manage the redevelopment and move to the new outpatient building, working with outpatient and divisional teams to support the development of the build and identify opportunities for innovation in patient pathways.
  • Develop and maintain plans to ensure timescales are met, demonstrating highly evolved operational management skills and expertise.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with all operational divisions involved in the project, ensuring co-design with patients of services and pathways.
Person Specification
  • Essential:
    • Education to degree level or equivalent level of experience.
    • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
  • Desirable:
    • Project/Improvement management qualification.
