Design Assistant, Penguin Random House Children's

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Design Assistant to join our Puffin Picture Books team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for providing practical day-to-day design and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the design and production of children's books, including updating brand sheets and making corrections.
- Manage reprints and produce mock-ups.
- Reimagine previously published books into fresh new formats.
- Work on your own projects where appropriate.
- Fluency in the use of the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator).
- Good typographic skills and a keen design eye.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritize tasks.
- Flexibility and willingness to learn about all aspects of publishing design.
