About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to lead and manage a Children's Home, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for vulnerable children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of a Children's Home, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for young people.
- Ensure high standards of care and promote best outcomes for young people, in line with Ofsted requirements and safeguarding policies.
- Lead and develop a motivated team, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent care delivery.
- Oversee compliance with regulatory requirements, including budget management and resource allocation.
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies and internal staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Ensure the health and educational needs of young people are met, through effective planning and coordination.
Requirements:
- A Level 5 residential leadership and management qualification.
- Strong knowledge of childcare legislation and regulations.
- Experience in managing residential children's homes at a managerial level.
- Budget management experience.
- Commitment to equality and diversity in service delivery.
- Excellent leadership and team development skills.
- Registration with SW England.
What We Offer:
- Annual salary of £55,783 - £59,010.
- Participation in the Managers On Call rota.
- 37 hours per week with flexible working conditions.
