Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Lead Residential Manager to join our team at Leaders In Care Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of residential care staff, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for vulnerable children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of a children's home, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for residents.
- Lead and develop a motivated team of residential care staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent care and support.
- Oversee compliance with Ofsted requirements and safeguarding policies, ensuring the highest standards of care and support.
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies and internal staff to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring the efficient use of resources.
- Ensure the health and educational needs of young people are met, working closely with healthcare professionals and educational institutions.
Requirements:
- Level 5 residential leadership and management qualification.
- Strong knowledge of childcare legislation and regulations.
- Experience in managing residential children's homes at a managerial level.
- Budget management experience.
- Commitment to equality and diversity in service delivery.
- Excellent leadership and team development skills.
- Registration with SW England.
What We Offer:
- Annual salary of £55,783 - £59,010.
- Participation in the Managers On Call rota.
- 37 hours per week with flexible working conditions.
