Position Overview:

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a skilled National Community Engagement and Events Coordinator to contribute to a prominent health charity for a temporary period of 3-5 months.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will enhance the existing community and events strategy, which includes high-profile events such as the London Marathon, while also pinpointing areas for enhancement and regional investment. Your primary focus will be to advance the event fundraising pipeline, aiming to increase net income.

You will collaborate with a dedicated fundraising team and have the chance to connect with broader donor networks, including those who contribute in memory of loved ones, manage legacies, and explore avenues for encouraging legacy pledges.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of meeting event income objectives and overseeing event budgets.
  • Experience in providing exceptional stewardship to donors.
  • A proactive approach to testing and learning, assessing product journeys, and disseminating insights across event initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders through both verbal and written channels.

Compensation: £35,000 – £37,000 (pro-rata)

Contract Duration: 3-6 months

Work Arrangement: Office-based one day per week
