Position Overview:

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a skilled National Community and Events Manager to contribute to a prominent health charity for a duration of 3-5 months.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will enhance the existing community and events strategy, which includes significant events such as the London Marathon, while also pinpointing areas for enhancement and regional investment. You will play a pivotal role in advancing the event fundraising pipeline with the objective of increasing net income.

As part of a dedicated fundraising team, you will have the chance to engage with broader donor networks, including those who contribute in memory of loved ones, manage legacies, and explore avenues for encouraging legacy pledges.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in meeting event income targets and overseeing event budgets.
  • Experience in providing exceptional stewardship to donors.
  • A proactive approach to testing and learning, assessing product journeys, and sharing insights across event programs.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders through both verbal and written communication.

Compensation: £35,000 – £37,000 (pro-rata)

Contract Duration: 3-6 months

Location: Office-based, one day per week
