The Role: Director of Process Engineering - Enterprise Resiliency

As a key member of the ERO leadership team, you will work closely with the Chief Resiliency Officer and the Executive Management Team to deliver at-scale change in our resiliency capabilities. You will support Northern Trust's strategic resiliency agenda by developing company-wide capabilities to effectively manage our value chains and mitigate potential disruptions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive process engineering framework for enterprise resilience, encompassing risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and recovery strategies.
  • Lead the design and implementation of resilient processes across various business functions, ensuring alignment with overall organizational goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across all levels to identify and analyze potential vulnerabilities and develop effective mitigation plans.
  • Conduct regular assessments of existing processes and systems to ensure their resilience against disruptions and implement necessary improvements.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging threats, and regulatory requirements related to enterprise resilience.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in process engineering, risk management, or a related field within the financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of business continuity planning and disaster recovery principles.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborative team player with a proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
