About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Staff Nurse to join our team at Saint Francis Hospice. As a Palliative Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide physical, emotional, and spiritual care to patients in accordance with their needs and preferences.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless delivery of care.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure informed decision-making.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote best practices in palliative care.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with a valid license to practice.
  • Experience in palliative care or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
