We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Staff Nurse to join our team at Saint Francis Hospice. As a Palliative Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide physical, emotional, and spiritual care to patients in accordance with their needs and preferences.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless delivery of care.
- Use evidence-based practice to plan and deliver care that meets the individual needs of patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure high-quality care.
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Contribute to the development of the hospice's policies and procedures.
- Registered Nurse Level 1 qualification.
- ENB 998 or equivalent.
- Experience of working in palliative care or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
