Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Account Planner to join our team at STRABAG UK Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Planning Manager in developing and monitoring construction programmes, ensuring compliance with company standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and monitoring of construction programmes to ensure compliance with company standards and client requirements.
  • Attend project start-up, close, and mid-meetings to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and identify potential issues.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed engineering and construction schedules, including critical path and project float analysis.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Estimator to establish project plans, document scope, and develop preliminary cost estimates.
  • Present project information to Estimating Manager, Senior Management, and Clients as required.
  • Monitor hours and costs to identify trends and assist in forecasting.
  • Help develop cost and resource-loaded construction programmes.
  • Coordinate the review of estimated design costs, including equipment, installation, labor, materials, and other related costs.
  • Coordinate projects with affected parties to ensure timely completion and adherence to government regulations and health and safety requirements.
  • Interface with functional teams, including BIM, design, estimation, and construction execution.
Requirements
  • Construction-related professional qualification of at least a HNC level.
  • CSCS Card.
  • Competence in Asta Powerproject.
  • Experience in construction contracting.
  • Active experience working with a wide range of planning techniques for tendering and contract delivery.
  • Clear understanding of commercial and contractual interfaces with the planning function.
  • Computer literacy with a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Microsoft Project.
  • Knowledge of development and implementation of Asset structures, Planning Standards, WBS, and Planning processes in a BIM environment.
  • Knowledge of Safety, Environment, and Risk Management.
  • Strong communication skills.
