We're seeking a seasoned Senior Design Manager to join our Construction team at Kier Group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management and delivery of design information in accordance with the agreed design programme and deliverable schedule.
  • Ensure that appointed design consultants adhere to their duties, scrutinizing returns to guarantee compliance with standards and brief.
  • Provide design input at both preconstruction and construction stages of projects.
  • Develop and maintain design programmes, design scopes, design responsibility matrices, appointments, and schedules.
  • Attend and chair necessary meetings and workshops with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in delivering high-value, complex design work from the main contractor's perspective.
  • Ability to organize, plan, programme, and manage workloads effectively.
  • Experience with site/contract procedures is advantageous.
